A manual set to Logged-in users redirects anonymous visitors to the WordPress login screen. A manual set to Public is readable by anyone. A manual that is still ingesting is not published yet. Its front-end URL does not resolve until its status reaches ready, which is worth knowing before you re-ingest a manual people are actively using.
