12.2 What the free core sends, and when

Once, when you click Send on the Help & Feedback screen. Nothing else, ever. There is no activation ping, no usage telemetry, and no scheduled call. That send carries your message, the email address you optionally provide, and these environment details: your site URL, your WordPress version, your PHP version, the Living Manual and Living Manual Pro version numbers, whether an Anthropic API key is set as a true or false value, whether a license key is set as a true or false value, your active theme name and version, your site locale, and whether the site is a multisite. No key value is ever transmitted. The payload carries only whether a key exists, never what it is. The Help & Feedback screen prints every one of these values above the Send button so you can read the exact payload before you send it.
