In your own WordPress database and uploads directory. The document you upload, the sections built from it, and the search index all stay on your server. The free core makes no external request while doing its work. The one time it talks to another server is when you write a message on the Help & Feedback screen and click Send, which is covered in Getting help. Living Manual Pro sends document text to the Anthropic API during ingest and sends reader questions to it when the docent answers, because that is how those features work. It uses your API key, and you control the account it bills to.
